A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports from TEAMtalk over the weekend claiming that the Villans are one of the clubs to have scouted Josh Brownhill this season.
Brownhill has enjoyed a very impressive first full year in the Premier League. He has made 23 appearances for Burnley in the top flight this season.

And it appears that his form is attracting a lot of attention elsewhere in the top flight. In fact, TEAMtalk claims that Villa have been joined by the likes of West Ham, Southampton, Wolves and Crystal Palace in scouting the 25-year-old.
It is not made entirely clear whether any of the sides plan to make a move this summer. And it seems that the Villa fans would be very divided if they did indeed confirm their reported interest with a bid.

Many have taken to social media to comment on the reports. And some would clearly be left underwhelmed if he joined the club this summer.
Villa boast a strong group of midfielders, and may not need to bolster their ranks in that area.
However, there are plenty of others who really rate the former Bristol City man – who cost £9 million (via BBC Sport). He provides a lot of energy and intent to the Clarets’ midfield, and some think that he could be an underrated gem if Smith signed him this summer.
