A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the print edition of the Sunday Mirror claiming that they lead the race for Joaquin Correa.
It has been a dramatic window for Dean Smith’s side so far. Despite losing their best player, they look to be on course to end the summer with arguably a much stronger squad.

Emi Buendia, Leon Bailey and Danny Ings have arrived for substantial fees. And it seems that they may not be done there.
According to the Sunday Mirror (8/8; page 75), they want Correa. In fact, it is suggested that they lead the race ahead of Everton and Leicester.

Lazio would want up to £30 million for the Copa America winner. The 26-year-old ended last season as their third-highest scorer in Serie A.
And it would appear that plenty of Villa fans would welcome such a deal. Correa can play in a number of roles across the forward line.
