A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Guardian this week suggesting that the Villans are in the hunt to sign Queens Park Rangers talisman Ebere Eze.
Dean Smith’s men can now begin preparing for a second season in the Premier League. And the supporters will be hoping that the heroics required to get them out of trouble this time inspire the club to do the kind of business in the window that ensures that similar is not needed next season.

The Guardian has suggested that the Villans are one of the clubs keen on signing Eze. West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion are also reportedly in the hunt for the 22-year-old.
The report notes that QPR want £20 million for the youngster.

And it appears that plenty of Villa fans are desperate to see the club meet those demands before one of their rivals comes in.
Eze scored 14 goals and contributed eight assists in the Championship this past season. And many supporters believe that he could be an inspired addition to Smith’s ranks.
With a number of Premier League sides also reportedly keen, it would certainly be a major statement of intent from Villa if they could sign Eze.
