A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Sun over the weekend suggesting that the Villans are preparing to make a bid for Odsonne Edouard.
Edouard has made another bright start to the campaign with Celtic. He has scored four goals in his opening four appearances as he looks to eclipse last season’s tally of 28 strikes in all competitions.

The Sun reported at the start of the month that Villa had made an enquiry for the Frenchman. However, it was suggested that Celtic want to keep the forward beyond this window.
But that does not appear to have put Villa off. The Sun has claimed over the weekend that the club plan to make a £30 million offer for the 22-year-old with Dean Smith identifying the youngster as his first-choice striker target.

It remains to be seen how Celtic respond should a bid come in. But the fans appear to be delighted about the prospect of Edouard potentially arriving.
Several Villans supporters have taken to social media to heap praise on Edouard. They believe that he would be an inspired addition to Smith’s squad.
And while some are not sure whether £30 million will be enough, they hope that it may be the first step towards Villa securing his signature at some stage before the window shuts.
