Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham opened the scoring against his former club Aston Villa last night.
Early in the game, Abraham was left unmarked in the middle to head Chelsea into the lead. Aston Villa fans are very familiar with Abraham’s clinical finishing and they were punished at Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old striker, who scored 26 goals last season for Villa, set Chelsea up for a victory. Chelsea beat Aston Villa 2-1 with Mason Mount scoring the winner after Trezeguet’s equaliser.
No celebration from Abraham

Abraham now has 12 goals in 21 games for Chelsea but he remains a favourite at Aston Villa. His post-goal antics have been well received by Villa supporters, who have dubbed him ‘classy’ and ‘respectful’.
After opening the scoring with his header, Abraham had a muted celebration. Out of respect to his old club, the England international decided not to show any emotion after scoring.
Aston Villa fans were very impressed by this, despite feeling the pain of him scoring against them. Here are some tweets from Aston Villa fans about Abraham and his lack of celebration.
