Aston Villa forward Keinan Davis is being linked with a possible loan exit – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have responded by claiming his temporary exit this month would make sense.
According to the Daily Mail, Championship side Stoke City are eyeing a possible loan move for the 22-year-old.
The report explains that Stoke want to reinforce their attack to help boost a promotion bid, as they are currently two points outside of the Championship play-off positions.
Davis, who earns £45,000-a-week (Spotrac), is currently playing second fiddle to in-form Villa striker Ollie Watkins, who has been lighting up the Premier League this season.
Davis has scored one goal in seven appearances so far this campaign across all competitions, but has not started a single league match.
He’s a physical centre-forward that works well as a target man and he’s somebody to come out of the academy, but minutes are at a premium for him and he’s struggled in front of goal at senior level.

A selection of Villa supporters on social media believe that Davis needs regular minutes in the second-tier to try develop.
His all-round game is mainly excellent with his physicality, movement and work-rate, but ultimately he won’t be a top striker if he can’t find the back of the net more often.
