Aston Villa fans react as Everton and Celtic reportedly eye Tyreik Wright

A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mail this week claiming that both Everton and Celtic are monitoring Tyreik Wright’s situation.

Wright is currently catching the eye out on loan at Walsall. The 19-year-old has made two appearances for Darrell Clarke’s men since arriving in January. And he has already contributed two assists.

That comes after he scored two and set up two in Premier League 2 for the Villans this term. But despite his success, it appears that his future is quite uncertain.

The Daily Mail reported this week that he is out of contract at the end of the season. It was noted that the Toffees and Hoops were amongst a host of clubs looking at his situation.

If his future is decided by the Villa supporters however, it appears that Wright will be going nowhere in the coming months.

Many have reacted to the reports by insisting that Villa need to make sure that the youngster stays put.

A couple have joked that the only way Everton or Celtic will be sealing a move for the teenager is if they follow Walsall’s lead and agree a loan move for the youngster.
