Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne this summer for a fee believed to be in the region of £11million – and Villa fans have reacted on Twitter to the news.
Turkish outlet Aksam have claimed that Villa want Diagne after he starred for both Kasimpasa and Galatasaray last season, moving to Gala in January. He amassed an enormous 31 goals in 36 appearances.
The Senegal international started the 2018-19 campaign at Kasimpasa, where he found the back of the net 20 times in just 19 matches. A move to Gala came in January, where he still managed 11 in 17 games for the champions.

Fanatik claimed that Everton wanted former Tianjin Teda striker Diagne and had a bid accepted last week, but nothing has since come of that report. Now, Villa are keen to take advantage by luring him to the Midlands.
Villa could do with another striker despite the signing of Wesley Moraes. That is because there are doubts over Villa’s current back-up strikers Jonathan Kodjia and Keinan Davis, and whether they can hack the top tier.
Dean Smith was also interested in Brentford’s Neal Maupay but has chosen to move to Brighton this summer. Villa fans reacted to the reported news that their club are interested in signing Diagne this summer.
