Aston Villa secured their return to the Premier League by beating Derby County in the play-off final on Monday afternoon – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter raved about attacker Anwar El Ghazi following his display.
Dean Smith’s side managed a 2-1 victory at Wembley to escape the Championship and return to the top flight.
El Ghazi made the breakthrough just before half-time, as he found space in the penalty area and managed to get a touch on the ball to divert it in.
John McGinn then added a second in the second-half, while Martyn Waghorn’s goal in the 81st minute for Derby set up a nervous finish.
Villa know they are back in the Premier League next year, while Frank Lampard’s first season in management ended in a play-off final defeat.

A selection of Villa fans singled out El Ghazi for praise following his display at Wembley.
The 24-year-old was on the first to get on the scoresheet, but was also a menace throughout on the left flank and made a number of eye-catching dribbles.
He’s been a bright spark during his loan in the Midlands this season and they have the option to sign him permanently this summer for £5million (Birmingham Mail).
