Aston Villa supporters have lavished praised on Ezri Konsa following the club’s successful Premier League safety mission.
The Midlands club will be in the top-flight once again next season after they drew 1-1 with West Ham United on the final day.
Watford losing 3-2 to Arsenal meant that that was enough for Dean Smith’s side to survive by a point.

Villa went ahead in the 84th minute thanks to a goal from captain Jack Grealish, before they were pegged back by Andriy Yarmolenko’s goal to set up a nervy finish.
Villa were seven points adrift of safety two weeks ago, but managed to put a four-game unbeaten run together when it mattered.
The nervy game at the London Stadium saw few chances, with Michail Antonio showing dangerous signs for the hosts.
It was Grealish who rose to the occasion for the visitors though, firing in from the edge of the box.
Villa were able to hold on after Yarmolenko’s equaliser, with a solid showing from Konsa.

The £12 million signing from Brentford (BBC Sport) took to Twitter after the game to share a snap of the team in the dressing room with the caption ‘this football club’ with an accompanying heart emoji.
The post has drawn lots of responses from jubilant Villa supporters, with many showering praise on Konsa for his efforts in recent weeks as well as today.
