Aston Villa fans are still basking in the glow of promotion back to the Premier League and the celebrations at the end of a long, hard season.
After a staggering run to round off the season, Dean Smith’s side are deservedly back in the big time – where they belong – and can look forward to better things to come.
Even Villa old boys are getting in on the act as former playmaker Barry Bannan celebrated the promotion, and was seen on video singing fan songs after Monday’s 2-1 win over Derby.
Villa supporters gleefully took to Twitter after seeing the video to hail the Scotsman for his continuing affection for the club, despite being a Sheffield Wednesday man now.

Supporters love nothing more than a pro player showing that he’s one of their own and being down to earth and in the elation after the Wembley win, they really enjoyed the footage of Bannan.
