Tyrone Mings completed 90 minutes in the away win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night – and many Aston Villa fans on Twitter hailed the quality of his performance.
Dean Smith’s side recorded their third consecutive victory in the league by beating Forest 3-1, as they continued a brilliant late charge towards the play-off positions.
They found themselves behind early due to Jack Colback’s third minute strike, but were in front thanks to a quick-fire brace from midfielder John McGinn.
McGinn powered in his first goal inside the box with his favoured left foot and netted a second effort from range once again on his dangerous foot into the bottom corner.
Defender Kortney House then made sure of the three points with a goal in the second-half and there is a real positive vibe surrounding the club right now.

A selection of Villa fans wanted to single out Mings for his individual display, as he once again was monstrous defensively and composed on the ball.
The 26-year-old has made quite the impact since he joined the club on loan in January from Bournemouth and is already a fan favourite.
He is a versatile defender that can be used effectively at left-back, but has shone at centre-back in Smith’s team alongside teammate Hause.
