Henri Lansbury made his first league start of the season in the defeat to Sheffield United on Saturday – and some Aston Villa fans on Twitter were not pleased with his performance.
Villa suffered a 2-0 away defeat at Bramall Lane, with midfielder John Fleck scoring twice on the second-half to give the hosts maximum points.
Jack Grealish’s penalty miss summed a disappointing trip on the road for the Midlands club, as they were toothless in the final third and it looks like they are only outside the relegation places on goal difference.
They have lost three straight league games in a row and have a huge fixture next weekend, which comes after a midweek League Cup quarter-final against Liverpool.
Villa host 18th-placed Southampton next Saturday and it’s set to be a tense relegation scrap.

A selection of Villa supporters on social media criticised Lansbury for his contribution in the centre of the park against Sheffield United.
The 29-year-old was unable to lead his mark on the game and was substituted off in the second period having failed to make a creative spark.
He’s started to get some more regular minutes in the past month due to the fixture pile-up, but the central midfielder was fairly invisible at Bramall Lane like some of his teammates.
