Aston Villa are reportedly interested in Nottingham Forest attacker Joe Lolley – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are split on whether or not he’d make a good signing.
The Midlands giants can now start preparing for the Premier League, after they beat Derby County 2-1 in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.
According to the Daily Mail, Villa are expected to make a bid for Lolley as they look to prepare their squad for the top flight.
The report details that he is top of the wanted list of manager Dean Smith to take up a spot on the right flank in his team and he could cost around £10million.
Lolley is a boyhood Villa fan and they could now try tempt him in the Premier League next season.
He’s just enjoyed a decent individual campaign with Championship side Forest, where he scored 12 goals and supplied 11 assists in 51 games across all competitions.
The versatile attacker is left-footed and can play on either flank or in a playmaker role.

A selection of Villa fans on social media have reacted differently to the Lolley reports and some don’t feel he’s good enough for the step up, while others would love to see him in claret and blue next season.
