Aston Villa have had another brilliant season under Unai Emery that could culminate in them winning the Europa League alongside Champions League qualification.
Emery has once again flipped the script and got Villa competing among the big boys.
This summer, then, Emery will be hoping for backing in the transfer window and it looks like he already has eyes on one of Spain’s best emerging young wingers.
Aston Villa may splash out on £65m Ander Barrenetxea
While Villa have spent plenty of cash during the Unai Emery-era they have also had to wheel and deal and sell players to comply with PSR as well.
However, Champions League qualification adds extra riches and now, according to TeamTalk, the Villans could go for Real Sociedad star Ander Barrenetxea.

Barrenetxea has emerged as one of La Liga’s top stars outside of the dominant three of the Madrid duo and Barcelona and is attracting plenty of interest from England and Europe.
He has a reported release clause of around £65m, meaning Villa would need to smash their transfer record to sign the Spaniard.
Barrenetxea could also end up being on display at this summer’s World Cup having been handed a first cap by Spain recently.
Predominantly a left-winger who can play on the right if needed, Barrenetxea is expected to be at the centre of a tug-of-war in terms of his future.
For Sociedad, there is no pressure as they have their man tied down under contract.
For those wanting Barrenetxea, it might be a case of paying that release-clause.
Villa’s previous record buy came in the form of Amadou Onana, who arrived from Everton for a fee of around £50m.
