Aston Villa have started their maiden campaign back in the Premier League with two defeats against Tottenham and Bournemouth.
Everton are up next for Dean Smith’s team as they arrive at Goodison Park tomorrow night for a spot of Friday night action.
The Villans will be keen to claim their first points of the campaign as soon as possible otherwise it could be a long old season for the team.

Some positive news for Villa has emerged today. Ahmed Elmohamady has penned a new one-year contract extension to stay at the club.
The Egyptian defender was a key part of last season’s team that got promoted to the Championship, with Smith now rewarding him for his efforts.
Elmohamady signed for Villa in 2017 for £1 million from Hull City, according to BBC Sport. He has gone onto become a first-team regular at Villa Park, playing 89 times for the club.
Following the announcement that the defender has penned fresh terms at the club, Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react.

The consensus is mixed. Some supporters think he deserves the contract as a reward for his efforts; whilst others believe he shouldn’t even be in the team and a new deal is bizarre.
Here is a selection of tweets from Villa fans following news that Elmohamady is sticking around:
