Samuel Iling-Junior is reportedly likely to leave Juventus in January after being linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

That’s according to TEAMtalk, with the outlet claiming that Tottenham are monitoring the talented winger’s situation in Turin.

Tottenham look set to dip into the market in January after being hit with several injuries during the early stages of the campaign.

Ange Postecoglou has lost both Micky van de Ven and James Maddison until the new year, while Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic are also sidelined.

The recent injuries have led to suggestions Spurs could look at bringing in a wide forward as Richarlison is also set for a few weeks out.

Indeed, The Independent claimed on Tuesday that Spurs are looking at signing Samuel Iling-Junior

The 20-year-old is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most exciting prospects and has featured in every matchday squad for Juve this season.

And a fresh report claims that Iling-Junior is likely to leave the Old Lady in January.

Iling-Junior likely to leave Juventus amid Tottenham interest

TEAMtalk reports that Iling-Junior looks likely to head out the door at Juventus in the upcoming transfer window.

The winger is attracting interest from Spurs, Aston Villa, Fulham and Everton.

It’s noted that his contract is set to run until 2025 and sources close to Juve have indicated there is little belief he’ll agree to fresh terms.

Iling-Junior has only managed four appearances for Juve this season, registering one assist along the way.

The England Under-21 international has racked up 22 appearances for the Italian giants since joining from Chelsea in 2020.

Spurs are short of attacking options at the moment, with Richarlison, Solomon and Perisic all sidelined.

Yet, they may have more pressing concerns come January as they bid to bring in quality cover for Van de Ven and Cristian Romero. Tottenham may also look at bringing in a creative player in midfield to deputise for Maddison.

Nevertheless, if Spurs do look to bolster their frontline, Iling-Junior would be an intriguing option and has been described as an ‘assist machine’.

While he’s relatively inexperienced, he’s got huge potential and could be a decent option to cover for Brennan Johnson off the left-hand side.
