Tottenham Hotspur – Spurs came within a whisker of winning the Premier League title last year before suffering an infamous collapse of confidence and form in the final month of the campaign. Mauricio Pochettino’s men lacked the mental strength to get them over the line five months ago but he will be hoping that his young squad will be able to flourish this time around. The Argentinian has moved shrewdly in the transfer market over the summer and Tottenham look to have a current squad that boasts much greater strength in depth than in previous years.
Dele Alli continues to develop, Son Heung-min looks like a new player, and the addition of Victor Wanyama has added further defensive steal in the spine of the team. Tottenham remain the only unbeaten side in the top three divisions of English football, including an impressive victory over Manchester City, and Pochettino’s men will need to maintain this form if they are to produce a title challenge come May.
