Everton could be set to lose promising youngster Ademola Lookman on a permanent deal. According to BBC Sport, Red Bull Leipzig and Everton have been locked in discussions over this transfer.
The Toffees are close to agreeing on a £22.5m deal to sell Lookman to RB Leipzig. The 21-year-old will return to RB Leipzig, where he spent six months on loan in the second half of the 2017/18 season.
Lookman scored five goals and provided four assists in an eye-catching loan stint in the Bundesliga. But his 2018/19 campaign was not as fruitful as he would have liked.

Marco Silva preferred other options to the Charlton academy graduate. Players like Theo Walcott, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Bernard were given more chances than Lookman.
As a result, the England U21 starlet is closing in on a permanent move away from Goodison Park. He is following the trend of young Englishmen travelling to Europe to continue their careers.
Everton fans took to Twitter to discuss the rumours linking Lookman with a move to RB Leipzig for more than £20m. Here are some of the best tweets.
