Ashley Williams has praised Tyler Roberts on Instagram after the Leeds United star’s display for Wales in their latest World Cup qualifier.
Rob Page’s men have missed out on the chance to put some daylight between themselves and the chasing pack in their group.

Estonia held them to a goalless draw in Cardiff. The result leaves Wales level on points with Czech Republic with a game in hand.
Perhaps crucially, they missed the chance to move to within seven points of Belgium, who have still played two games more.
It proved to be a frustrating night for the home side. And one of the players who may be particularly annoyed with the outcome is Roberts.

The Leeds player was given a golden chance to prove what he could do in the number nine role.
He did have chances. But he was unable to beat Arsenal prospect Karl Hein in the Estonia goal.
Roberts seems to be quite a divisive player amongst Leeds fans. There is no question that he has a lot of talent. And there were some outstanding displays at the highest level towards the end of last season.

However, he is yet to establish himself in Marcelo Bielsa’s plans. And it appears that he is in a similar situation with his nation, having not made the most of Wednesday’s opportunity.
Nevertheless, Williams insisted that he could be happy with his display as the nation’s former captain took to Instagram to reply to the 22-year-old’s post following the game…
