Andre Gomes is reportedly on the verge of sealing a move to Everton.
The Barcelona playmaker spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Goodison Park and impressed with his brilliant passing range and dribbling ability.

The Toffees have made no secret of the fact that they want to sign him permanently, and it would appear they have now won the race for the Portugal international.
According to BBC Sport, Everton are now close to sealing a £22 million transfer for the 25-year-old, which is a coup considering Barca were reported (Marca) to be holding out for €30 million (£26 million).
Considering Gomes’ consistent high level of performance last year, it really is a snip – and perhaps questions should be asked of Tottenham Hotspur, who were said to be keen on the star (The Sun).
TBR’s view
With Spurs likely to lose Christian Eriksen this summer, and having already bid farewell to Mousa Dembele, Gomes would have been ideal for the Lilywhites, especially in the over-inflated market.

He’s shown he can do it in the Premier League, and his price is definitely within Tottenham’s budget.
The club appear to be very focused on getting Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso in for big money.
Those two will transform Spurs for the better if Daniel Levy can make the deals happen, but the club have arguably slept on a gem in Gomes.
