Tottenham boss, Jose Mourinho, cut a frustrated figure last night as he watched his much-changed team draw 3-3 in Austria with LASK.
Without some key first-teamers like Harry Kane, Toby Alderweireld, and Sergio Reguilon, Spurs struggled to contain LASK and were, in fairness, lucky to come away with a point in the end.

Mourinho once again subbed on some of his big hitter, such as Eric Dier and Mo Sissoko, but still saw his side stumble to the draw.
The Spurs boss, then, criticised some of his fringe players after the game. Via the Evening Standard, Mourinho questioned the attitude of some of his squad when selected for the Europa League clashes.
“[I learned] nothing new really. The fact that the Europa League group phase doesn’t motivate some of the players, I knew it” Mourinho said.
The likes of Lucas Moura, Davinson Sanchez, and Gio Lo Celso were all given chances, while Japhet Tanganga came into the back four too.
But with comments like this, and the likes of Ben White and Milan Skriniar being touted as potential signings, is Jose Mourinho hinting that he needs even more characters and quality in his squad?
A big January
Daniel Levy deserves credit for backing Mourinho in the summer but the pair are now in the tricky predicament given Mourinho and Spurs’ impressive start to the season.
These sorts of comments are not entirely new from Jose, either. He’s hinted before that some of his players don’t get his trust, and this is another example of that sort of attitude.

It leaves Levy and Mourinho at a bit of a crossroads heading into January. Things are going well, but is now the time for the club to capitalise and make sure they position themselves for a run at the title?
The Spurs squad has a few saleable assets in there. Mourinho, then, could well opt to move three or four of those players on and bring in just the one or two quality additions to get him over the line.
