Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has played down concerns over Bukayo Saka’s fitness following their win over PSV Eindhoven on Thursday.
The Gunners star needed treatment on the pitch after nearly doubling his side’s lead midway through the second half.
Not long after Granit Xhaka’s opener, Saka surged through the opposition defence and forced a save from Walter Benitez.

While bursting through, Saka received a kick to the back of the leg, and he looked in pain as he received treatment.
The 21-year-old eventually got back out there and looked fine as he looked to run off his knock.
Given Saka’s importance to Arsenal and England, the prospect of him getting injured is a worrying one.
But speaking after the game, Arteta didn’t seem concerned.
“I think he will be okay,” he told BT Sport, as transcribed by BBC Sport.
‘He is really important now’
Arsenal and England fans will have breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing Arteta’s update.
With the Gunners in such amazing form and the World Cup starting next month, Saka’s fitness is crucial.
Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has urged England boss Gareth Southgate to make Saka his main man in attack in Qatar next month.

“We have a World Cup coming up. I just feel now that he is the one that Gareth Southgate has got to turn to on that position,’ Keown told BT Sport, via Metro.
“I don’t care who it is, they are not playing better than he is. He is really important now.”
