Arsenal have reportedly offered a trial for Peruvian teenager Aron Sanchez.
According to Football London, technical director Edu Gasper has offered a trial to the 18-year-old centre-back. Sanchez was part of Peru’s provisional squad for this summer’s Copa America.

It is likely that Sanchez will join the U-23 side should he impress during his trial. The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for Brighton defender Ben White, with Sky Sports News reporting a £40m bid was rejected last week.
Indeed, with William Saliba returning to the first-team this summer, Arsenal are stacked for centre-backs heading into the new season, even with David Luiz departing.

Arsenal fans aren’t keen on Aron Sanchez
And supporters on social media were critical of Mikel Arteta for targeting another centre-back this summer.
Including Saliba, Arsenal have five players who specialise in the position. Kieran Tierney and Calum Chambers can also operate in the role.

Arsenal look likely to spend this summer once again adding to their U-23 side. Last year, the club signed Omar Rekik and Nikolaj Moller to the squad.
