Arsenal have been preparing for their upcoming FA Cup tie against Oxford United.

The club released a video of the first-team squad in training, with Emile Smith Rowe heavily featuring.

The Athletic believe that Smith Rowe is set to be in Mikel Arteta’s team tomorrow evening.

It’s a welcome return to action for a young player who has already had to deal with his fair share of injury problems.

The 22-year-old has managed just four Premier League appearances this season, with all of them coming from the bench.

However, after the loss of Gabriel Jesus to injury, Smith Rowe’s return couldn’t have come at a better time.

Given how well Arsenal are going in the league, Arteta may use the FA Cup to rest some of his key players.

This means a number of fringe and youth players could be given their chance tomorrow.

Talented midfielder Bradley Ibrahim was spotted in Arsenal’s first-team training ahead of the match.

The 18-year-old could be given the chance to make his senior debut tomorrow if Arteta decides to fully rotate.

Bradley Ibrahim spotted in Arsenal training

In the video shared by Arsenal, Ibrahim can be seen marking Smith Rowe.

Physically, he already looks a match for the attacking midfielder, which is impressive given his age.

The ‘dynamic’ midfielder is Arsenal under-18s captain this season, but has already featured at under-21 level too.

He’s been on the bench twice this season in the Europa League, but has yet to make his debut.

Ibrahim is a defensive midfielder, but has also been described as a ‘good goal threat’ in the past.

He’s got plenty of strings to his bow, and can function either as a holding midfielder in front of the defence, or a box to box player.

Ibrahim is rangy, and can nick the ball off opponents easily while also having a brilliant eye for a pass.

The England under-18 international is a very exciting talent and could have a big future ahead of him at The Emirates.

It’s no surprise to see Ibrahim in Arsenal first-team training once again ahead of a cup match.
