Everton are reportedly keen on bringing in centre-forward Artem Dzyuba from Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg.

According to RT, the Toffees are prepared to reignite interest in the 30-year-old this January after eyeing him in the summer after some impressive displays in the World Cup.

It is understood that the Russia international is open to a switch to the Premier League and manager Marco Silva has identified him as a target.

Dzyuba is a 6ft 5in powerhouse that could be a great short-term fix at Goodison Park and they should step up a potential swoop.

The target man is great at linking up playing and his arrival at Goodiosn Park would allow Richarlison to move to a preferred wide role.

Dzyuba has been in impressive form this season for Zenit, scoring 10 goals and supplying seven assists in just 23 games across all competitions.

He also has a great return of 15 goals in 32 senior international caps for Russia and is a tidy finisher inside the penalty area.

Everton need to bring in an extra attacker to spearhead the attack if possible in January and the Zenit ace may provide the answer for the rest of the season.

The Merseyside club should be looking to drop huge money next summer on a frontline striker, but Dzyuba could fill the role until the end of the season at least and could surprise some people.

He looks tailor-made for English football with his strength and power, which is why he would be worth chasing for Everton.
