Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been described as an “exceptional” player by Arsene Wenger.
The 27-year-old has long been Spurs’ standout player, developing into one of the best strikers in the world at N17.
Kane has registered a staggering 215 goals in 327 competitive appearances for Spurs, as well as 46 assists.

However, he has yet to lift a major trophy with Spurs, despite coming close in the Premier League and Champions League.
The likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and Man City have been linked with the England captain, despite having over three years left on his Tottenham contract.
Despite Spurs’ struggles and Kane’s talent, Wenger suggested that the North Londoners should not just be dismissed as a place where the striker can win silverware.
“Tottenham are in a position where they can be ambitious and we should maybe not judge only today’s situation,” the former Arsenal manager told beIN Sports, via Goal.com.
“Tottenham was top of the league in December. There were a few times when they were top of the league when I was still at Arsenal.
“(Kane) is the only one who can assess the situation. A player like that is always solicited by other clubs and always has to assess his situation.
“He was until now a real top leader at Tottenham. He’s a top leader in the English national team. I respect highly his commitment and his quality.
“What I like today is he could play basically as a number 10 because the quality of his assists and the speed of his vision, and the execution of his speed on long balls is exceptional.”
TBR View:
The subject of Kane’s future crops up all the time and, frustrating as it may be to hear and read for Spurs fans, it’s not going to go away while Tottenham remain out of reach of the Premier League and Champions League.
Spurs now have just the League Cup to play for this season and are three points adrift of the top four, so there’s a risk they might not qualify for the Champions League next term – could that be the tipping point for Kane?
