Arsenal have so many talented players in their squad.

The likes of Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are bordering on that world-class level, while there’s a feeling within the squad that Arsenal have another player who is one of the world’s best.

Speaking on Inside Arsenal, Team News and Ticks has been discussing Gabriel Jesus’ ability, and he says that he’s been told that people within the Arsenal squad believe Jesus is a top five striker in the world at his best.

The insider says that a number of players in the Arsenal squad really rate Jesus, and, hopefully, he will be able to hit those heights again this season.

The insider shared what he knows about how the Arsenal club view Jesus.

“I remember the year we signed him he looked incredible on tour. It was the first time and I was like I didn’t realise he was this good,” He said.

“Up until the World Cup he was excellent.

“I said it the other day, people within the squad think he’s a top five number nine in the world at his best. That might be going a bit over the top, but that’s how highly they rate him.”

Gabriel Jesus has bags of ability

Gabriel Jesus is a fantastic player at his best, and while he may not be a top five striker in the world, when he’s on song, he’s unplayable.

The Brazilian only scored four league goals last season, so consistency is clearly a problem, but when he’s playing with confidence and happiness, the attacker can Man of the Match against any opposition.

Unfortunately, Jesus hasn’t been able to show his best form over the past 12 months, and that is why it as been reported over the last 24 hours that the striker is potentially available for transfer this summer.
