Arsenal’s Calum Chambers post training video on Instagram; Nacho Monreal replies

Nacho Monreal joined a host of Arsenal fans in replying to Calum Chambers after the defender posted a video from the training ground on Instagram on Monday.

The 25-year-old is still awaiting the chance to make his first appearance of the campaign. He has been working his way back from injury.

Chambers has not played for Arsenal since December due to a knee problem. But the club recently confirmed on their official website that he is now back in full training.

And it appears that the England international is raring to go as he posted a video on social media showing him on the grass taking part in a shooting drill.

Chambers has scored four goals in 101 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions. But perhaps, it should not be a surprise if his goalscoring ratio improves upon his return.

That is because the video shows Chambers scoring a couple of stunning goals (which can be watched in full here).

On both occasions, he finds the top corner with thunderous strikes from just outside the penalty area…

That prompted a number of Arsenal supporters to send messages of support for Chambers. And they were joined by Monreal, who played alongside him for a number of years at the Emirates.

The left-back however, clearly felt that there is more to come from his old teammate…
