Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka names the one attacker who he’d absolutely love to play with

Bukayo Saka has named the one attacker in world football he’d most like to play with.

Arsenal have been linked with a number of new attackers this summer from Viktor Gyokeres to Benjamin Sesko.

Speaking to TalkSPORT, Saka has been asked which attacker in world football he’d most like to play with, and, interestingly, he’s picked a veteran forward.

Indeed, rather than choosing someone like Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe, Saka has claimed that he’d most like to play with Lionel Messi.

Bukayo Saka would love to play with Lionel Messi

Saka responded when asked which attacker he’d most like to play with.

“If you could play with one other attacker who would it be?” Saka was asked.

“I would say Messi,” Saka said.

Imagine Messi and Saka

Lionel Messi may be slightly past his prime these days, but the thought of the Argentine playing with Bukayo Saka is still mouth-watering.

Alongside being the greatest goalscorer of all-time, Messi is also perhaps the best playmaker ever, and if he played in that false nine role with Saka running beyond him, he’d create so many chances.

Unfortunately, Saka will never get the chance to play with Messi. The Argentine’s move to Inter Miami is likely to be his final move of his career, and we’re never going to see arguably the greatest footballer of all-time come to the Premier League.

Messi would be a dream teammate for any footballer, but the idea of Saka in particular working alongside the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner is incredibly exciting.

Saka will likely have a new attacking partner to work alongside at Arsenal next season, but, unfortunately, he won’t get the chance to work with his dream fantasy teammate – Messi.

Messi may well be the best attacker of all-time, and even in his advanced years, he’s still one of the most talented footballers on the planet.
