Arsenal take on Leicester City today looking to continue their push towards the top four and continue their fine run of form in the Premier League at the moment.

Mikel Arteta’s side are playing very well and are on a nice run of wins as they look to usurp the likes of Manchester United in the race for Champions League football. The Red Devils, of course, saw off Tottenham last night to put themselves firmly back in the picture.

For Arteta, picking the right side to beat Leicester will be crucial. He is expected to have Emile Smith Rowe back in contention, while Gabi Martinelli will hope to keep his place. But in terms of the bench, Arteta has some big calls to make and there could well be a place for young winger, Salah-Eddine Oulad M’hand.

In the latest round of pictures from training released this weekend, Salah-Eddine is pictured among the first-team players posing in a group picture.

TBR’s View: Salah-Eddine Pushing At Arsenal

It’s hardly ground-breaking to see Salah-Eddine training with the first-team, but it is interesting that the youngster is still in and around proceedings on a weekly basis.

This suggests Mikel Arteta’s trust in him is growing and that, given the chance, he won’t hesitate to throw Salah-Eddine into the mix if needed. The youngster certainly looks a talent, and if he can mimic his under-23s displays at first-team level, then the Gunners have another fine youngster on their hands.

Lauded as ‘something special’ by Arsenal’s coaching staff, you feel it won’t be long until Salah-Eddine is featuring regularly.
