Dane Scarlett opened his account for Tottenham Hotspur’s Under-23 side by outwitting Chelsea veteran Petr Cech who made a surprise return between the sticks on Monday night – and Arsenal teen Omari Hutchison has sent replied to his Instagram.

Tottenham took on Chelsea in Premier League 2 on Monday night and the game produced fireworks. Cech, 38, started between the sticks while Scarlett – fresh from making his senior debut and becoming the club’s youngster ever player – started up front.

Spurs went 2-0 up, Jubril Okedina netting the first and Scarlett getting the second – bulleting a header past a helpless Cech after a stunning left-footed cross from Harvey White. But the game flipped on it’s head in the second half.

Alfie Devine and Danny Drinkwater were both sent off, after Devine flew into a tackle on the Premier League winner – provoking an angry response from the ex-Leicester man. Chelsea also came back to win 3-2, and Scarlett posted on Instagram.

Scarlett got his chance with the reserves despite only turning 16 in March, after netting an impressive 14 goals in 14 games for the Under-18 side. However, he could do nothing to prevent Chelsea’s comeback, as they took advantage of 10 against 10.

It has been a good season for Scarlett and a goal on his Under-23 debut against Cech is just another reason for Spurs fans to get excited. Arsenal’s 17-year-oldtalent Omari Hutchinson responded to his post, commenting on his goal against Cech.

Tottenham U23 teammates Devine, Malachi Walcott and more also responded.
