Arsenal teenager Joe Willock is the latest person to lavish praise on Dani Ceballos.
The Spaniard has been lapping up praise from fans and pundits this past week after a stunning full debut against Burnley.
The star, on a season-long loan from Real Madrid, dazzled in the midfield and set up both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score at the Emirates Stadium.
Comparisons have already been drawn to the likes of Santi Cazorla and Cesc Fabregas, and fans are definitely excited to see more of their new number eight.
The latest person to speak about Ceballos is Willock, who has been blown away by the 23-year-old’s quality in training.
He told Goal: “Dani’s a top player. We see it every day in training, he’s just brilliant. He’s very technical.
“He showed on Saturday how good he is going to be and what he will bring to the team. It was a good performance from him. He was top class.
“And every day he’s getting fitter, every day he’s getting better.”
Ceballos’ influence could be invaluable for a player like Willock, who is clearly going to get some first-team chances this year.
The former Real Betis maestro’s technical abilities are definitely something the 19-year-old should be looking to copy.
Obviously a lot of football has to be played before a decision has to be made about Ceballos’ future, but if he doesn’t stay at the Emirates beyond his loan, then at least his influence could have improved the younger stars.
