Max Dowman continues to break records everywhere he goes, as the Arsenal academy ace moves from strength to strength.

At just 15 years old, he has become a regular feature in the Gunners squad, as he looks to make a name for himself in the team.

Mikel Arteta handed Dowman his Arsenal debut earlier this season, with appearances against Leeds, Liverpool and Port Vale.

Small glimpses of his quality have got plenty of fans excited for what the future could be if he continues on his current trajectory.

Plenty of records have already been broken at Arsenal, but the playmaker is continuing to make history with England on the international stage, too.

Max Dowman becomes the youngest-ever England under-19s goalscorer

An impressive start to the season for Max Dowman has put him on the radar for plenty of fans, pundits and clubs alike.

While there is real excitement over his potential, the Arsenal star still needs to get that experience to reach his top level.

That includes playing through the England youth ranks, with his recent promotion to the under-19s giving him a fresh experience.

He was handed a start in the recent match between the Three Lions and Wales, which ended in a 7-0 rout.

Dowman completed 67 minutes, but not without landing his first goal for the national team at that level.

It was a goal that meant he had broken the record for the youngest-ever goalscorer in the under-19s team.

Former Tottenham ace Ryan Sessegnon was the previous holder of that record, who scored his first England under-19s goal at 16.

It also meant that Dowman is the first 15-year-old to score at that level for the Three Lions, as he continues to show his promise.

As records continue to tumble all around him, it’s difficult not to see the potential and get excited for the player that Arsenal have at their disposal.

It’s not just the Gunners who have sat up to take notice, however.

Gilberto Silva left impressed by Max Dowman at Arsenal

While Max Dowman has made quite a start at Arsenal, pressure and expectation will only rise as he continues to improve.

Real Madrid have been scouting Dowman as one of many youngsters they are keeping tabs on for the future.

The Gunners have been warned by Gilberto Silva to protect the 15-year-old, while being impressed by his ability.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, he said: “Max Dowman, wow. I saw him in pre-season.

“You know what I really like, with these young players, that kind of personality. It doesn’t matter how young they are, they play with personality.

“Don’t be scared or afraid of trying things, dribbling, giving a pass, trying something different with their ability.

“This is so important to build their confidence, but also it’s important to give them time.”

The praise for Dowman continues as records continue to tumble, with the aim of more senior opportunities ahead of him.
