According to reports from Italy, Arsenal are considering making a mega-money offer for Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Arsenal are looking to add a world-class midfielder to the ranks and Calciomercato is reporting how the Gunners are looking into proposing a huge deal for the Serbian. It’s reported how the North London outfit could go in with a cash bid of around £60m, and on top of that, throw in Sambi Lokonga as well, who they value around the £20m mark.

Lokonga only arrived at Arsenal in the summer of 2021 as the Gunners paid around £18m for him. However, he has failed to really kick on so far and has been vocal in the past week about the prospect of seeking a move away from Arsenal at some point.
A move for Milinkovic-Savic, then, could well open the door for both Arsenal and Lokonga to come to an agreement.
Dubbed as an ‘astonishingly gifted’ midfielder by 90Min, reports in recent weeks have claimed that Liverpool are also keen on signing the Lazio ace. Jurgen Klopp is known to be keen on signing a new midfielder, with the likes of Jude Bellingham said to be high on the Reds manager’s list.
TBR’s View: Milinkovic-Savic Completes Arsenal
If Arsenal are looking for a player to take them to the next level then Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is one player who could do such a thing.
He has been one of the outstanding midfielders in Serie A for some time now and if the Gunners can prize him away, it will be quite the coup.
The offer of Lokonga is an intriguing one as well. It might give them an edge when it comes to negotiations, with Lazio knowing they’re at least getting someone in who could potentially fill the gap left by Savic for a while.
