Arsenal are ready to sell their striker Eddie Nketiah this month as they look to raise funds for other transfer deals.

The Gunners are desperate for another striker and want to bring in someone who can fire them to Premier League glory.

Ivan Toney is the main name being mentioned for Arsenal. Mikel Arteta is a big fan of the Brentford striker but he could end up costing some £100m to get over the line.

But it seems Arsenal are preparing to move for someone and will now sell Nketiah if they get a bid of £30m.

Arsenal ready to sell Eddie Nketiah

According to The Daily Star, Arsenal have now named their price for Nketiah and will accept a bid of around £30m to help them with other deals.

The Gunners are right on the line when it comes to FFP and selling Nketiah would count as pure profit, given he’s a homegrown player.

A number of clubs are thought to be keen on signing Nketiah this winter. Despite being dubbed a ‘remarkable‘ player by Mikel Arteta, the Englishman is still behind Gabriel Jesus in terms of being the club’ s main striker.

Further, the idea of them signing someone new also pushes Nketiah further down the pecking order.

Nketiah should move on

It will be a hard decision for Eddie Nketiah to make, this. If he stays with Arsenal he might not play as much as he’d like but he has a chance of picking up a PL winners medal.

On the other hand, he might feel the Gunners want him gone and that can be a hard scenario to play your best football in.

Nketiah has done quite well for Arsenal this season and he got a stunning hat-trick against Sheffield United earlier in the year.

But now 24, he needs to be playing regularly and there could well be a chance he becomes the main man elsewhere.
