The bosses of Eintracht Frankfurt have now been informed that Arsenal want to sign Willian Pacho this summer.
The talented Ecuadorian centre-half is making a fine name for himself in the Bundesliga. He is a terrific talent, and it’s no surprise at all that clubs like Arsenal are interested in him.

Arsenal want to sign Willian Pacho
Arsenal are currently on top of the Premier League table.
Mikel Arteta‘s side are in a fantastic position right now, and if things go their way, they could go on and win the title at the end of the season.
Irrespective of what happens, Arsenal will need to strengthen multiple areas of the pitch, and reports have claimed they will be on the market for a new defender.
Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has claimed now that both Liverpool and Arsenal have included Eintracht Frankfurt’s Willian Pacho on their shortlist.
It has been revealed that the bosses at Frankfurt have also been informed of the interest from the two English clubs, but they are not ready to let Pacho leave for a small amount of money.
Die Adler want a fee in the region of €60 million (£51m) to let him go.
Plettenberg tweeted: “News #Pacho: The 22 y/o central defender from Eintracht Frankfurt is on the shortlist of @Arsenal and @LFC! Eintracht bosses informed about it.
“Eintracht demand around €60m in summer. Contract is valid until 2028. Top player and one to watch for summer transfer window.”
Arsenal don’t need a new centre-back
Arsenal need reinforcements in multiple positions, but we don’t think central defence is one of them.
The Gunners have William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes as regular starters in the heart of their defence. Jakub Kiwior, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber can all play there as well.
If things get really desperate, Mikel Arteta could deploy Declan Rice at centre-back too, while there’s also young Reuell Walters, who is a really exciting young talent coming through in the academy.
As good a player as Pacho is, we don’t think it makes a lot of sense for the Gunners to spend over £50 million to sign him – unless someone ends up leaving.
Along with Liverpool and Arsenal, Tottenham have also been linked with a move to sign Pacho. He would be a good fit for Spurs.
