Arsenal are reportedly interested in Bologna midfielder Mattias Svanberg, according to Il Resto Del Carlino.
The Gunners have struck gold with Takehiro Tomiyasu this summer and Edu has apparently taken a shine to his former teammate.
Arsenal aren’t the only club reportedly eyeing Svanberg, however.

Il Resto Del Carlino claims that, as well as the Emirates Stadium outfit, the two Milan giants and Napoli also like the 22-year-old.
The red side of Milan appears especially keen on Svanberg.
Calciomercato claimed earlier this year that director of football Paolo Maldini is a big fan of the £4million playmaker.
And according to a V:Sport report from January, Zlatan Ibrahimovic told the Milan board to seriously consider signing Svanberg.

Despite the speculation earlier this year, the Sweden international stayed put at Bologna, where he has continued to shine.
This term, Svanberg has made 12 Serie A appearances, registering two goals and one assist.
His next game will see him hit a century of competitive appearances for the Italian club.
Svanberg is a talented player with plenty of top-flight experience at just 22 years old, and knows Tomiyasu well – can Arsenal bring the midfielder to the Emirates too?
