Arsenal welcome West Bromwich Albion to the Emirates stadium this evening, as the race for the Champions League reaches its closing stages. The Gunners currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, one point ahead of closest rivals Manchester United, while the Baggies occupy a comfortable 14th place.

Somewhat surprisingly, Arsenal have been in terrible form of late. The Gunners have won just four of their last 13 Premier League games (W4 D6 L3), only one more victory than West Brom in their last 13 top flight matches. Arsene Wenger’s side are still in the driver’s seat in the race for a top four spot, but results will have to improve if they wish to remain in control.

West Bromwich Albion beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Hawthorns earlier this season, despite only having one shot on target. However, only one of the 13 league meetings between Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal and a side managed by Tony Pulis has ever ended as an away win. The Baggies head coach has lost all seven visits to the Emirates Stadium.
