Arsenal under-23s defeat Dinamo Zagreb 3-2 last night in the Premier League International Cup. The Gunners secured the victory thanks to a Tyreece John-Jules brace and a James Olayinka strike.
Josip Sutalo and Roko Baturina scored the goals for the Croatian outfit but the Gunners weren’t to be denied.
The result meant that Steve Bould’s team head into the New Year with a win.

They did leave it late though. John-Jules’ winning goal came in injury time after Baturina had seemingly rescued a point for the visitors.
The 18-year-old is set for a bright future at the Emirates Stadium. Although he is yet to make his first-team debut, he was on the bench in last week’s 2-2 draw at Standard Liege.
He has now scored eight goals during 2019/20 for the under-23 ranks and is edging closer to the first-team.
With the first-team situation a mess, to say the least, he could earn himself an opportunity before the season is out.
All John-Jules can do is keep performing at under-23 level and the rest will take care of itself.

Following his goalscoring form of last night, supporters took to Twitter to call for a first-team call-up.
Arsenal have a history of bringing youngsters through and John-Jules might be the next cab off the rank.
