Arsenal have been linked with Domenico Berardi in recent weeks.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gunners have “knocked on the door” of Berardi’s club.
But Arsenal are far from the only club apparently vying for the Sassuolo and Italy forward.

As well at the Emirates Stadium outfit, the likes of Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool have also been linked.
Arsenal – or any other suitors – could potentially have to pay upwards of £43million for the 26-year-old.
And while Sassuolo want to keep their “top player”, they’re not refusing to do business either.
“We want to keep Berardi, he’s our top player,” CEO Giovanni Carnevali told Sky Italia, via Goal.com.
“If we receive an important bid, we will discuss it and take a decision together with the player.
“But we’re not selling our stars later in August.”

Arsenal target Berardi: Time for him to make the leap?
Berardi registered an impressive 17 goals and eight assists from 30 Serie A games last season.
Despite his efforts, Sassuolo finished eighth in the table, and at this stage in his career, he could perhaps be looking at a step up.
Berardi then went to Euro 2020 with Italy and played a big part as the Azzurri won the tournament.
His contract runs until 2024 but, if ever there was a time to make a step up, now is it.
