Arsenal have opened talks with the representatives of Alexander Isak. The Swedish sensation is currently playing for Real Sociedad and is a wanted man.
According to AS, Real Madrid are keen, but it seems the Gunners have made the first move on the road to signing him.
Arsenal will be on the lookout for a striker this summer. Both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette could leave and that will leave the Gunners short.
They appear to have identified Isak and could be prepared to go big for the player who has a £60 million release clause.
Arsenal appear willing to stump up that sum. The report claims the club will act with a huge bid if the initial talks with his representatives are positive.

Isak is currently starring at Euro 2020. He has played in all three of Sweden’s undefeated games, creating an assist against Poland.
His team face Ukraine next and there is a real possibility of them going deep in the competition.
That will only see Isak’s stock rise even further. As a 21-year-old he already boasts bags of potential and scored 17 goals during 2020/21.
Arsenal could have competition from a London rival. It has been claimed previously that Chelsea are also in the market for Isak.
Isak to Arsenal: Gunners can complete stellar swoop
Isak won’t come cheap but he would represent a sound long-term investment for Arsenal.
The fact he has caught the eye against quality sides at Euro 2020 certainly helps and the Gunners are right to make contact.

Given his age he could spearhead the team’s attack for years to come and he appears to have the attributes to shine in the Premier League.
He is quick, scores goals and constantly places defenders on the back foot.
Arsenal have plenty of business to do this summer, but adding Isak might just be the most important.
