Arsenal academy forward Omari Benjamin has made The Guardian’s Next Generation 2022 list.
The newspaper has picked out the best youngsters at each Premier League club born between 1 September 2005 and 31 August 2006.
And Benjamin, who plays for the Arsenal Under-18s, made the cut when it came to the Gunners player selection.

The 16-year-old is one of many exciting young prospects at Hale End.
As per Jeorge Bird, Benjamin was prolific for the Arsenal Under-16s last season.
A first-year scholar at the Emirates, he has very much picked up in the U18s from where he left off.
In three U18 appearances this term, Benjamin has scored four goals.
This included a stunning hat-trick against Arsenal’s north London rivals Tottenham.
Benjamin is a Wales Under-17 international too, and has three goals from seven caps.
‘Explosive finishing ability’
Nick Ames of The Guardian wrote about Benjamin’s qualities, as well as his ‘highly encouraging understanding’ with Ethan Nwaneri.
‘It is fair to say Benjamin knows how to make a good first impression,’ wrote Ames.
‘Three games into this season he scored a stunning first-half hat-trick for Arsenal’s Under-18s against Tottenham and it was little surprise to anyone who has charted his early career.

‘Benjamin, who is at his most dangerous surging infield from the left, has exceptional speed and close control along with explosive finishing ability.
‘Prior to 2022-23 he had already demonstrated those qualities for Wales Under-17s and as a prolific scorer for Arsenal Under-16s.
‘It helps, too, that he is blessed with the strength to hold off opponents.
‘He has shown a highly encouraging understanding with Ethan Nwaneri, the schemer who became the Premier League’s youngest-ever player in September.’
