Raheem Sterling’s role for Arsenal
Now we know that Sterling is Arsenal-bound, it’s interesting to ponder the role he will play at Arsenal.
The winger is going to be on massive money at the Emirates, and he won’t be arriving just to warm the bench.
Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Sterling after his spell at Manchester City, and the manager could put the winger straight into his starting XI.
Leandro Trossard has been brilliant as of late, but given Sterling’s Premier League pedigree and his trophy collection, Arteta may turn to Sterling as Arsenal push to win the league this season.
Whether or not Arsenal can win the title this season remains to be seen, but Sterling certainly has the ability to be a big difference-maker if the Gunners’ title push.
