Reported Arsenal target, Philippe Coutinho, is set to be given another chance at Barcelona under Ronald Koeman, putting an end to any potential summer transfer.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move away from the Nou Camp all summer. Indeed, the Mirror claimed just a few weeks back that Coutinho was on the radar of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, although it was unlikely he would sign.

However, Koeman is said to be a big fan of the former Liverpool man and according to Mundo Deportivo, is set to meet with Coutinho as a priority in order to convince him to stay in La Liga.
The news will be a blow to the Gunners and any other suitors, who had been hoping to land a cut-price deal for a man who cost the Catalan giants well in excess of £100m just a few seasons ago.

Coutinho displayed his prowess in the recent demolition job of his parent club for Bayern Munich, where he played a role in scoring and assisting for the Germans. He currently earns a whopping £240k-a-week, according to the Sun.

Hopefully, this puts an end to one of the longest will-he, won’t-he sagas of the entire summer.
Coutinho has been linked with more or less every big club in Europe, with Barca seemingly touting him about to try and get him off the books and clear the wage bill a bit.
However, Koeman is his own man is clearly a fan of the Brazilian. With a bit of luck, Coutinho can find his mojo again under the Dutchman and get back to being the player most English fans know he can be.
