Arsenal target Cesare Casadei has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, with Fabrizio Romano reporting on Twitter that the 19-year-old is ready to sign a six-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
Casadei’s move to the Blues seems to have been on the cards for a little while. However, Thomas Tuchel’s side are not the only team interested in bringing him to England.

In fact, reports last month claimed that Arsenal were crazy about Casadei. And they had made an enquiry.
Since then however, it has been Chelsea who have made the big play for the midfielder. And it seems that a deal is now imminent.

According to Romano, the next bid from Chelsea will be accepted by Inter Milan. They will pay £12.7 million up front for the youngster. And personal terms have already been agreed, with Casadei about to sign a contract until 2028…

Arsenal fans may not be too surprised to see Casadei head elsewhere. The links with the Gunners have gone somewhat quiet since those initial reports.
But it does seem to be disappointing for Mikel Arteta’s men – particularly if they were crazy about the goalscoring midfielder.
He does look to have an amazingly bright future ahead. Chelsea are paying an eight-figure fee and handing him a six-year deal before he has even made his debut for the Nerazzurri.
It is another impressive move from Chelsea. They have already produced a number of coups in this window, with Carney Chukwuemeka one youngster who has already joined the club.
Arsenal fans may wonder if they will go on to rue not doing more to win the race. It does seem – from the outside – that the Gunners may have taken a backseat in proceedings.
