Report: What Arsenal's players have pinched off Liverpool that's bamboozling Premier League players

Arsenal are flying high at the top of the Premier League table ahead of their crunch clash with Liverpool this weekend.

The Gunners saw off Tottenham last weekend and now go into another Premier League fixture against a giant of the league who have title aspirations of their own. Of course, Liverpool will fall 14 behind the Gunners if they lose which would surely put them out of title contention.

All eyes, then, will be on how they cope with Arsenal’s system and performance levels. And interestingly, The Independent has claimed that Arsenal are doing something tactically that’s bamboozling opponents, intriguingly, just like Liverpool did under Klopp a few seasons back.

The Independent writes how Arsenal’s use of a 3-2-2-1-2 formation while in possession is completely catching out opponents. It’s suggested that only Arsenal’s players ‘get it’, and a comparison is made to the Liverpool side of 2017, which enjoyed success as they implemented Klopp’s own systems.

It’s all set up, then, for a massive clash this weekend when the Gunners face Liverpool. In the end, it could be a battle of the systems and whichever comes out on top, could see the three points come home.

TBR’s View: Arsenal Can Beat Liverpool

This is the best chance Arsenal have had in years of beating Liverpool. They are bang in form, flying high, and are coming against a Liverpool side struggling for consistency.

If the Gunners can pick the three points up then it will send a message to everyone in the league that this is a side who can really challenge for the title.

However, Arsenal must be aware of Liverpool still. They have top players, a top manager, and on its day, a system that can wear down most opponents. The Gunners, then, will need to be at 100% to take all three points.
