Allan Saint-Maximin starred for Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon as the Toon eased to a 3-0 win over Sheffield United at St. James’ Park – and Arsenal supporters want the Frenchman signed.
The 23-year-old found the back of the net as Newcastle returned with a bang and opened up an 11-point gap between themselves and 18th-placed Bournemouth. Saint-Maximin netted his fourth goal of the season.
With John Egan sent off, Saint-Maximin converted a low cross despite the best efforts from a despairing Dean Henderson. Enda Stevens had failed to clear, allowing Saint-Maximin to slide the ball home.

The French winger was excellent throughout as Matt Ritchie and Joelinton also got their names on the score sheet. Saint-Maximin has a contract at Newcastle for another five years, after agreeing a six-year Toon deal.
Already a fan favourite at Newcastle since his £16million (Goal) move from OGC Nice, Saint-Maximin has earned the admiration of supporters thanks to his exciting displays on the pitch – and interactions with fans on Twitter.
Arsenal supporters watched on as Saint-Maximin starred for the Gunners, and many are desperate for their club to lure the twinkle-toed winger to The Emirates in the coming months – with one fan even suggesting David Luiz and £10million as a player-plus-cash deal.
