Arsenal summer signing says he already has more ‘aura’ than anyone else in the entire squad

Arsenal have made seven new signings this summer.

The Gunners were expected to go big in this window, but even the most optimistic supporter wouldn’t have confidently claimed that their side would make this many signings.

Andrea Berta kicked things off with the acquisition of Kepa Arrizabalaga, and that was followed by the arrivals of Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera, Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze.

If you were to ask most Arsenal fans who their favourite signing has been, most will likely say Eze because of his connection to the club.

However, another player could become a fan favourite very soon.

Noni Madueke says he has the ‘most aura’ at Arsenal

Arsenal signed Madueke from Chelsea in a £52 million deal in the summer.

The England international is a fine player, but fans of the Emirates Stadium club weren’t keen on signing him just because of the club he was coming from.

However, Madueke is slowly winning over Arsenal fans following his move, and he played well in his first start for the club against Leeds United last Saturday.

All eyes will be on Eze when Arsenal take on Liverpool next, but Madueke could make a big impact himself at Anfield.

Ahead of that big clash, the former Chelsea man and some of his new teammates sat down for a game of fill-in-the-blanks on the Premier League’s official social channels.

When asked to name the player with the ‘most aura’ in the squad, Madueke picked himself.

“Noni has the most aura,” he said.

Noni Madueke suddenly has a big role to play at Arsenal

Madueke would’ve wanted to become a star at Arsenal when he joined the club, but the reality is that he was signed as a backup.

However, the Englishman could get his wish now.

Bukayo Saka is expected to spend a few weeks on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury during the game against Leeds United.

After the Arsenal number seven hobbled off the pitch, Madueke was moved to the right wing, and he looked really sharp there.

The expectation now is that Madueke will get the nod against Liverpool on Sunday, and he has to fill Saka’s shoes, which is a huge responsibility.
