Arsenal have got their 2019/20 campaign off to a flying start with two wins from two fixtures. The Gunners have defeated Newcastle United and Burnley to sit on six points.

Boss Unai Emery has strengthened his squad during the summer with Dani Ceballos, Nicolas Pepe, David Luiz and Kieran Tierney all arriving at the Emirates Stadium.

The start to the campaign will have delighted the club’s supporters, although the season is still in its infancy.

In order to make way for the stellar summer recruits, some were moved on. Aaron Ramsey went to Juventus on a free transfer, whilst Danny Welbeck and Stephan Lichtsteiner were released.

Yesterday saw one of the departed players fix himself up with a new club.

Switzerland international Lichtsteiner has penned a deal with Bundesliga outfit Augsburg.

The right-back had just one season in North London, playing 23 times in all competitions for the Gunners.

Following his search for a new club coming to an end, Arsenal fans have been reacting to the news.
